The 800 has a fan which  didn't shut down using Net Api "standby"..so that command has to be ignored or else the fan  would burn out.
Thanks.  But interesting.  Does that mean that "Discrete Off" is still in fact drawing significant power on the 600 & 1000 (to still require the fan to be powered-on, if supported on the 800)?

So for 800 can you still use the Apsolute iPad App, but you would need to first turn on via the IR remote?

The 1000 and 600 are fanless.  Net api  stanby has to keep  the CPU running  and cool to process net commands.


Even the 1000 and 600 have to  be powered on "first" without net api.  They are then put into Net Api standby via a Net api client.
