In case some of you have older systems like mine, I've experienced that the Y2M program requires that you have Net Framework 3.5.

Yes it does - sorry should have mentioned that somewhere. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hi, I can confirm that the black screen issue has been fixed with win 7 64 bit. My only problem now is the size of the output. Using the standard setting of 1280 x 720 the image is too large for a 4:3 TV so some of the image is lost and changing the aspect ratio in mede8er makes no difference. Changing the size in Yamj to mede8er just crops the final image so again some of it is lost. Otherwise, great work Cheers Shamus

Hi, I'm using YAMJtoMede8er and it works perfectly except when I change default skin in YAMJ directory and regenerate moviejukebox folder (I have used different Aeon skin mods). YAMJ2Mede8er shows movie posters (fanart with movie information) properly but the picture is cropped. Then I change output resolution (in YAMJ2Mede8er) to 1280*750, and crop image to 1280*720 with Irfanview. It would be nice if the YAMJ2Mede8er could do that automatically.

Shamus,
for a 4:3 display you are probably better off having a look for a YAMJ skin that is designed for SD-TV's. I have seen a couple around. The ouput of YAMJ To Mede8er is pretty much controlled by the skin.
MarioB,
As I just said to Shamus the output of Y2M is controlled by the skin, so the fact that images are seemingly being cropped is a bit confusing. Is there any chance you can zip up and make available the skin mods you are using so I can have a look and see what is going on?

Hi ButlerPeter, once again amazing work... Regarding my problem, I'm using ĈON Movie Wall YAMJ skin http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=25534 with Sabish's Lowlist Mod http://networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=25534&pid=326191#pid326191. The complete skin folder that I use (with my settings) can be downloaded here http://rapidshare.com/files/345370856/my_default_skin.rar. You can place my_default_skin in the "C:\YAMJ\skins" folder, rename it to default (first backup original one and regenerate your movie jukebox files. With my Movie database (Jukebox folder and index file), I run YAMJ_To_Mede8er with default settings (Image resolution 1280x720, Quality ~90%) and the result is shown in the attachment. You can see the scroll bars on the bottom and on the right side of the image. The solution, for now, is to change resolution from 1280x720 to 1280x750 and then crop the image to original 1280x720 pixels (e.g. IrfanView).

Ahhh now I understand - not a skin issue at all.
Leave it with me.
Quick question - what is the desktop resolution of the machine you are running Y2M on?

If yo uhave access to a machine with a resolution higher than 1280x720 could you give Y2M a try on there. I'd be interested to see the result.
Thanks

Is there a way to process networked files? I have a NAS, the generation of jukebox files worked (index.html, etc) but the conversion from html to jpg didn't work. Error message is: Saving Image to /192.168.1..... Error saving image to C:\192.168.1..... Any ideas?
