Would it be possible to have the movies rotate like a spiral? I saw this on some wii game and the file was called wii flow. I like everything that is going on just throwing my 2 cents worth.

That has a game quality 3d graphics chip.  The 1186 is a bd player chip.

Now if you want to  suggest this on Community Tools, you get it added to an  ipad or android Net Api controller.

Well, according to the specs the chipset does support 3D acceleration with OpenGL ES 2.0.

Not according to  Realtek. So sellers "hype" the capability. Android requires Open GL support, so  any Android SDK will include openGL support, and for the 1186 that means  an emulator.  It is a huge leap to start saying the chip then has a 3d GPU supporting Open GL acceleration, as some imply.

That is one reason why Android is crap on the 1186.

Well, this is the Realtek product page:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/products/productsView.aspx?Langid=1&PFid=29&Level=3&Conn=2&ProdID=314

And it says:
Quote
GPU: OpenGL ES2.0-compliant 3D GPU

That's why I thought it offers 3D acceleration as it clearly states GPU. But that also might be marketing exaggeration.

I would say that GPU means GPU, meaning that the CPU is not emulating it...

But I'm engineer, not a marketing expert, so I might be wrong.

That list has been extended since the last time I looked.   Realtek don't support it through their own SDK, only android.
