Any update on this?

As soon as the Apple app was out, I was optimistic that Android will follow and bought the player. Turns out you should never buy a product based on anticipation (not mede8er fault). Should have just gone either with Dune or PCH.

Gonna be honest im with mdp on this, expected some sort of android remote and feel like ive been led up the garden path for months now about one supposedly in the making

With the apple release there were constant updates and threads made about its progress and rough release dates, alot of ideas floating around

Ask about a android release and for months and months now theres been replies saying theres one in the making, 4-6 weeks away but it never comes and ive not seen one single bit of proof to show theres even a app in the making (unless you class a picture of a android device on facebook with a photohopped picture over the screen counts)

Enjoyed my mede8er, still do to an extent, but very tempted to jump ship and go for a different brand instead of waiting around for another x amount of months with nothing guerenteed

@mdp if you do a search for 'android' there is another thread with a lot of replies, not a lot worth reading though unfortunately

Yes, I have been to that thread. That app is a simple navigation app. We need app like the apple one with full blown jukebox. I need it because then i can use the mede8er for music without turning on projector. Beside, its easier for family members too.

Ever since this thread was up, asking about which version of android, I got my hopes up thinking the app is just around the corner. I guess its better to look elsewhere. :(

Yes ive seen the photoshopped android phones, what does it prove exactly? also had my comments removed from the facebook page for questioning the images, blatant BS

It exists for sure - you can believe me on my word.
I was in the opportunity to test several versions and it is working pretty well with my Samsung S4.

Currently the developer is working to optimize the graphical interface - which is always a pain on Android to let it scale properly on all the different screen resolutions there are.
On Apple IOS this is much easier.

Just a little patience - I expect we are pretty close to start with some closed beta round on it soon.
