AGGREGATE JUKEBOX in with Firmware 15 MARCH V2.0.0

yes I already have folders in my jukebox. The files that they are attached to are the same ones that I tried to add to the new jukebox Plus. But for some reason when I tried to do this every folder says 0 movies found.

I have 2 hdd connected to my 600x3d (usb ports) , 1 external hdd connected to pc (usb ports), and the internal hdd pc, total 4 hdd. Every hdd have this folders: Movies, music (video concerts), animation, documentaries, and finally 3D. If i install the new agregate jukebox plus, and i see all the movies, i can filter with the xml search by animation, documentaries, concert , etc but for the movies in 3D which is the way for filter (mainly 3d sbs)? Is there any posibility in yadis to add a tag for 3D in the xml file generated for use with the jukebox+? I want to have the posibility of view only the 3D movies that i have in my 4 hdds.

You can add '3D' as a Genre as you already requested or you could do a workaround and add [3D] to the end of the folder folder name of all the 3D movies in square brackets. This will be filtered on the screen but if you do a Title search for 3D and all the 3D movies will be displayed.

You don't add movie folders one by one. You go  to  the parent folder you orignally scanned to create the standard jukebox. It's that folder you  add...and you should get told how many movies where added from the standard jukebox.

I have suggested we look at using Standard Jukebox Favourites as the way to  add the standard jukeboxes. Some people may have forgotten what  folder is at the other end...


.also....you need Volume Names for the internal and USB drives. Without those filelinks can't be created.  The aggregator may  refuse to  add movies it can't generate a filelink for.

First I put the B-Walt Disney in favorites
In favorites I scan folder
--> It's ok I have jukebox (three raws), when I open the B-Walt Disney folder in favorites, I see all the covers, and I can search movie by year etc...
I can launch a movie

***********Agregation jukebox
I put E:\Yadis in the favorites
I make it agregation jukebox in the favorite, and I can see "jukebox +"
In it I see all the covers like for jukebox i have created but
when i do 'add to jukebox' from the favorite B-Walt Disney --> It says 0 movie added
and from the B-Walt Disney directly --> It says 0 movie added
When i try to launch a movie from jukebox + --> nothing happens

Something wrong... but I can't see what...

Some help please.

I am not sure but it seems you trying to add a Aggregated JukeBox to JukeBox + and you cannot do this. You can add to Favourites E:\Films\B-Walt Disney and then add 'B-Walt Disney ' to JukeBox + and it will work. Then you can add another Folder that contains Movies etc 

So the rule for JukeBox + is the folder that you 'Add to JukeBox' must be Mede8er structure with Sub Folders of Movies and each Movie Folder must contain a movie file, xml file, folder.jpg and about.jpg.

I agree with Mede8er1..you  already have an aggregated Jukebox..and your trying to aggregate it again.

You have a choice to make.  

The internal aggregator is for those with standard jukeboxes.  

You can either continue to create aggregated jukeboxes just using the Yadis tools...or create standard jukeboxes using other tools and then use the internal aggregator.

I think this is what I 'm trying to do, cause on favourite B-Walt Disney I do "Add to Jukebox" but I read "added 0 movie"

To create Jukebox + I have done this:
E:Yadis --> favourite -->aggregate jukebox -> it becomes jukebox +

I think i 'm no sure to understand, because in what I have done, I use only 1 source: E:Films\B-Walt Disney, no other folder and no other source. So why do you say it's already aggregated ? or how you can see that it's already aggregated ?
For me 'B-Walt Disney' in Favourite is a standard jukeboxes...

A standard jukebox has no filelink as the movies files are in the jukebox folders.  You have followed the guide to  create an Aggragated jukbox with Yadis/Yadis2mede8er, not a standard jukebox.


You are not limited to Jukebox+  as "the" aggregated jukebox. Many already have aggregated jukeboxes created using external tools. You already have one without realising.

OK thank you for your answers but 2 things I still don't understand:

You don't add movies to jukebox+. It aggregates whole standard jukeboxes in a single step.  

To use Jukebox+ you would delete your current jukebox..not the source folders..and re-scrape using a standard scraper putting the scrape with the movies.

I can't see the point of doing this just to use the internal Jukebox+ aggregator when you already have an aggregated jukebox using tools you are now familiar with.

I see from the above you don't have your current aggregated jukebox working.  That sounds like you have not got the correct fielink..which indicates you are not familier enough with external aggregation to get it to work.

In which  case follow the advice above...create standard jukeboxs and prove they work.  This does not use filink..so  is easier to  get working.   Then use the internal aggregator.

Hi,

First, let me point out that I have a 600 and only use external HDD, no network for me. Just a question on adding movies to the jukebox (and by default, the aggregated jukebox) : before, I just used yadis without the jukebox, so I did not need to scan my favorites.

Now, I'm using the jukebox (and the aggregated jukebox) and I really like it. But I haven't added any movies yet to my external HDD. Once I add movies, do I have to re-scan every favorite that received new movies?

The internal  tool is being kept simple.  You should check out RobinC's external  program if rescanning is an issue.

I don't really mind to re-scan again, I just want a confirmation that it's necessary. Thanks for the info about RobinC's program, but I already use yadis and yadis2mede8er and don't really want to use another program... unless you tell me it's really worth it and is "better" than yadis2mede8er. Thanks.
