Yes. I also tried 3 different PC's and all does the same. I believe it is either the amount of episodes (17000) or something inside one of the season folders even though all where generated with TvRename.

Still have no clue! Maybe try to split your total files into two directoies and try one at a time. My Maximum / run was 3000 ( I think)

Any chance you might have stumbled upon a solution for osx.

Unfortunately, this free tool https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/10603/avifourccchangerx does not work any longer

Yeh I been looking into this.. Unfortunately the only way to run PPC apps on the later osx's would be using a virtual machine of older Osx's.. Defeating the purpose as you might as well have installed a Windows based virtual machine..

The developer's email no longer works and it seems it's been abandoned. Really hope some cocoa developer can code us an intel version.. Unless someone has an easier solution for us Mac users? Anyone?

I've spent a few hours searching for a mac solution to no avail.

I'll use handbrake to convert every avi to mp4. It will take time but probably a longer term solution.

Cheers mate

I am trying lupissimo's tool but when I launch the .exe the command window closes immediately.

I am using a windows 7 laptop 64-bit with paragon to access the HFS+ drive hosting my movies. Any advice will be highly appreciated.

PS: FCCtool.exe works fine but you have to go to all your folders one by one and the batch created by Mr L is quite elegant

As I am not familiar with paragon, I assume it is a connection problem to your shares. I have my share on a NAS and all drives are connected under win7 as networkdrives F:,G:etc. I would try just to test copying some movies to your local drive on the laptop to see if that works and take it from there e.g. find out whether it is a connectio issue.
