no audio signal on the .mov files

Hello,

I have not audio signal whan I play .mov files from my digital camera (TELEFUNKEN) on my media player ??

I put the SD card into the media player and there is no audio-signal only the picture ? When I connent camera with the LCD directly, everything is OK.

What sholud I do ??

Hi Alan,

It is quite possible that the audio encoding within the MOV file is not supported, and hence is not playing on the Mede8er.
The only way to tell would be to obtain a full MediaInfo TEXT output from the problematic file in question and/or obtain a small sample via our tech FTP.

Not all .MOV files are equal - this is just a 'container' that is made up of various elements such as audio and video codecs, amongst others...
While the .MOV container and the Video codec of your camera's files appear to be supported, I am led to believe that the audio codec employed by your camera appears not to be.
More detail would be necessary in order to determine this as a matter of fact.

the problem is here

this type of codec is a predictive based coding that is actualy not supported. maybe in a future fw release.
