YAMJ has TV Show support, although I have never used it.
Look here

Alternatively I use a folder structure for series as depicted in this post and it works out pretty well.

Hi Jan,

That is a third-party product and is supported in the forum you download it from.
Look here.

In the download zip file you will see a file called about.pdf - read that for a full guide on how it works.

Good luck...

I tried TVRenamer, but theRenamer is much better.

The list only has one transcoder. I would add Handbrake to the list. This allows access to a lot more features which can come in useful with problem DVD's.  I use it to avoid using the realteks de-interlacer with DVD.ISO's, which is poor in comparison to my DVD player.

Handbrake is already on the list as a DVD ripper - do you want this added as a transcoder?

According to them it isn't a ripper.

I didn't try to rip with it. I already use DVDshrink (the origonal version) for that.

If someone does want to rip directly to MPEG-2 MKV then I'm trying out this:-

They also call this is a transcoder. I wouldn't call any sofware where you don't need a different codec at the end a transcoder. This is all about re-packaging.

Hi Kavi,

Try downloading an updated beta - expiry is date-based and every few months the author released another beta update.

Hi

Maybe ThumbGen works also with your player... give it a try  ;)

http://thumbgen.tk

Practically you can use it right now if you do following:

* In Options/Advanced Settings you set for MainSheet the naming convention to suit player's needs: most probably $M\about (.jpg)
* You download from wdtvlive.net and select a moviesheet template that suits the Xtreamer requirements (mabye 1280x720, having a layout that fits your needs)
* Recommended: You always choose to generate also metadata (.tgmd file) that will allow you to automatically recreate all your sheets using a different template at any time in the future

If no interest there's no problem, I just wanted to ask :)

You can get something like this:

ThumbGen
