Hello all
Got my new Mede8er MED500X Which is my first media player. Got it unpacked, threw in a 1TB HDD and had a quick play and am very impressed.
Then the bad news was I had to pack it up quickly before the girlfriend got home as it is a Christmas present :( Now it is hidden and I'm not allowed to play for 24 days ;D
Perhaps this will give me time to get my head around YAMJ and do some reading up.
Hurry up the 25th.

Are you sure your girlfriend want's one of these? Or is it really for yourself? In which case you must get her something at twice the price or your going to have as much time as you like at xmas to play with the med500.

She asked me to search around for a media player that I wanted for Christmas and the Mede8er caught my eye. It will be for both of us in the long run, so it looks as though she will be staying ;D

Mine was supposed to be for Christmas but I had to open it for 'testing'. It was being tested when my wife and daughter arrived home from a shopping trip and its been in 'testing' ever since, its just I dont use it as much as they do :-)
I suggest a plan, load the mede8er with some of your girlfriends fav movies or tv shows, pull the plug on what ever you use to watch tv with and then suggest you set up the mede8er :-)
