I reupdated FW 3.04 but still have this problem, can someone tell me what to do because this problem occured when Windows Live Essentials 2011 was instaled?

I have my "computer folder" visible under network tab, but when I try to access it, it asks me to logon ofcc failed.

I think he means uninstall Windows Live Essentials 2011 from your PC and/or go back to a Windows Restore point on the PC. Don't think he means revert to previous fw on the Mede8er.

It's not a tip.

For exemple, all "games for windows" need that [CENSORED]ing [CENSORED] of live assistant to be able to start.
So removing it, is not a solution.

Hope a real fix soon...

The "Login Failed" problem of the Mede8er trying to login to a Windows 7 machine that has Windows Live Essential 2011 installed has been resolved with the Mede8er v4 firmware.

Just download and install the v4 firmware to your Mede8er, and you'll have no issues with Windows Live Essentials 2011.
