Anyone know how to overcome the problem of video glitching with mkv copied blu ray that has Dolby true HD? Maybe another media ripper? Or is it a problem with 500X?

There are lot's of reason why video stutter. We can't see what stutter you have. If streaming...it could be bandwidth issue. If MKV...it could be header compression issues. If 24 hz video, it could be pull up stutter.
So you give details of how you are playing the media....and the Med settings...and we might deduce what kind of glitching you have.

Okay so basically I'm taking a BD and ripping it to MKV removing all the unnecessary audio formats and subtitles into a external hard drive. I then take the external drive and plug it into my 500X but i get stutters and stammers in both the audio and the video. If however i push the audio button on the remote and change it to DD audio then i get zero issues.
If a BD has DTS MA then i have none of these problems.
This happens even if i rip in directly to my internal drive for my mede8er.
And this is not the first time its happened and not the only person i know that it happens to, if fact everyone one of them have the same problem.
Is there a setting that I'm supposed to changed because a lot of the BD's here in SA only have True HD.

I use Make MKV but i am prepared to use anything so long as it can keep the blu ray as close to the original as possible and i don't think there are any settings that i can change in MKV to fix this problem.

There is a reason why there is a standard format for informtion in the sticky. We end up asking for more. So do you have a HMDI amp, or are you using spdif? Which version of the firmware did do you have...core extraction for spdif...or HDMI passthrough of HD audio?

MED500X f/w 4.0.5 Audio - HDMI out > Dennon 1909 AV Receiver Audio setting - Night mode-off, HDMI-passthrough multichannel, SPDIF- pass through multichannel Video - HDMI from Dennon 1909 > Samsung PS550C Plasma Video Setting - 1080p 60Hz, 24HZ on or off makes no difference, 16.9 Media source - wired network through win 7 or internal seagate drive or USB external drive. All have the same issue. Board - i don't know what that is HDD internal - 2TB, external 1.5TB HDD Space 400 Gigs, external 609 gigs
Ok so hopefully this will help me on my way to resolve my issue.

Has anyone got an idea why I'm having this problem with True HD. I haven't had a single problem with HD Master or even HD Master Hi-Res for that matter. It's only with True HD. If i run the movie from the internal drive, USB or my NAS i have the same problem. Why? Man it's becoming annoying.

For test purposes you should try the native chip package which is .TS. TSremuxergui can be used to convert your mkv.
