Hi,

I have just purchased a Panasonix P42GT30B 3D TV, and now I have the sound sync problem when trying to play media files via 1080p 50/60hz.   I can switch to 1080i 50hz and that nearly corrects it, but then the picture is terrible, as it is no longer smooth and any panning type shots in the video are very jerky.

Is there anything that can be done?  Are the Mede8er devs looking at introducing a manual sound correction?
I love this media player, but now I can no longer play any media to an acceptable level.

Ive seen a few posts/arguments on this before, but just want to know whether it is going to be addressed or not.

If its not, can anyone recommend a Media player that will play the media correctly?  (Ive read that Popcorn Hour's range have a manual sound shift facility.)

Thanks

There are no more fixes for the 1073 range. The solutiin is not a manual corrction....but lip sync. Alll 3d buyers should be told about there sets reliance on lip sync.....and that none of their current 2d kit will have it.

There is no problem if you buy a bundle....the tv shop will be more thsn happy to sell you compatible 3d bluray player at the time.. when you get home you connect up your 1080i sat box....and everything hd works without sync issues.

Although lip sync could be added to sources...by the time that would be possible...most 3D TV users will have HDMI amps which  have lip sync, even  if thet felt obliged to do  so  to  solve the lip sync issues.  So the chip makers will be asking why solve a problem that's already solved?
