I have an audio problem...
Mede8er 500X. FW 4.0.4...
Most movies (mostly 1080p, bluray) play fine...
HDMI connection to Plasma TV
SPDIF to Onkyo 777 (5.1 receiver which is about 10 years old but works fine)
One movie however only shows video, but no audio at all. And it is not a silent movie, but U571
These are the audio specs:
Audio Bitrate........: 768kbp,48Khz 24bit
Audio Channels.......: 5.1
Is this something special, my Onkio can not play? Strange that most of my other modern bluray movies have no trouble with playing audio from the Mede8er to the Onkyo...
In settings I have chosen passthrough for SPDIF and Downmix for HDMI (since TV only has 2 speakers).
A friend of mine also tried to play this exact same .wmv-file on his Windows Media set and it played fine, video+audio. So the file seems to be ok.
Why can't I hear any audio with this specific movie? Do I have to add codecs somehow, somewhere?
