You seem to be running on V4, not on 4.0.4 or 4.0.5

Maasbommel and I are not in dissagrement. It's some kind of good  kop, bad kop , thing going on. I remember your first post about how concerned you where about ruining xmas. So, yes, we can help you solve your problem...i just think we should wait.

Sounds like some kind of competition. Which kop duo could we be? Starsky and Hutch? Morse and Lewis?

Hi All

As promised i said i would update all users on the problem i was having with my mede8er 500x . My problem was solved by installing the latest firmware. My mede8er can now read all my data on my external 1tb buffalo hard drive.

If anyone else has this problem then please be aware that if you have a 500x with a built in hard drive then once the firmware has been updated you will have to rebuild your video wall. This is as simple as the first time you did this and will only take a few minutes. I never backed up any of data in the internal hard drive but this might have been luck!!  Thanks to all who helped me with this problem just before Christmas. Smiley
