Hello,

I'm trying to get Sky Radio Seasonal-station (Christmas) working on my MED500X (firmware 4.0.5), but I used al hints on this forum (and other forums) for getting the .PLS-file working, but I didn't succeed.
Other stations I could listen to in a .PLS-file (for example 3FM-radio), but SkyRadio isn't working.
I'm using the info which was mentioned in http://www.skyradio.nl/player/seasonal.pls, and changed it al little bit because else my MED500X is giving me a read error.

Current content of the PLS is:

Code:
[playlist]
numberofentries=6
File1=http://5723.live.streamtheworld.com:80/SEASONALAAC_SC
Title1=Sky Radio Christmas
Length1=-1
File2=http://5723.live.streamtheworld.com:3690/SEASONALAAC_SC
Title2=Sky Radio Christmas
Length2=-1
File3=http://5723.live.streamtheworld.com:443/SEASONALAAC_SC
Title3=Sky Radio Christmas
Length3=-1
File4=http://5713.live.streamtheworld.com:80/SEASONALAAC_SC
Title4=Sky Radio Christmas
Length4=-1
File5=http://5713.live.streamtheworld.com:3690/SEASONALAAC_SC
Title5=Sky Radio Christmas
Length5=-1
File6=http://5713.live.streamtheworld.com:443/SEASONALAAC_SC
Title6=Sky Radio Christmas
Length6=-1
Version=2

In MediaPlayer, VLC and WinAmp this is working.
Maybe SkyRadio is using  'strange' streamtooling ??

Download the dutch pls files and compare. Try editing one of the dutch files to include the equivelent data.

Is there a way to check this ? Maybe find out which service they are using to broadcast so I can be sure that it's not a 'bug' ?

If you gogle you find posts which refer to "lost" dutch  radio stations..the reason being they have shifted to the Microsoft ASX streaming format.
