keys control when playing music

playing with my mede8er i observed how different are commands in video play from music play.
when playing movie and press center navigation button or pause , movie freeze, if press again movie continue from that point.
in music play is different : press center button and music start from the begining. to put music on pause ,press pause button and if press center navigation button, music restart, you must press play button to continue from the same point.
is not a big issue because i suppose thhis was projected to work like this, but is very annoyng and difficult to learn.
music or movie playing must have same control buttons with the same functions.
