Hi to all,

I have a MED500x for almost 2 years now and never had any problems with it until now. It has latest FW installed.
Few days ago it started to crash when playing a video after 1-2 mins. There was a short and pretty loud buzz, picture get lost (sometimes is black, sometimes blue or pink), box doesn't react either on remote nor buttons on it. After few attempts it stopped booting (but not every time) so I took it to the service center where FW was updated and everything was fine (as service employee told me).
When I brought it home and connect it to TV (Panasonic, plasma, 2 yrs old) with HDMI cable (which is OK) it started to crash again. I tried with/without HDD, from USB....back to service...again.
At service center they connected it via HDMi with monitor and started a video material. Everything was fine!
I left it at service center so they could figure it out why is it working at their place fine, but not at my home Smiley

Do you have any suggestions what could cause a problems?

If I forgot to mention anything which could be important, please let me know.

best regards

It sounds a bit premature to say it isn't tv related.  You would need to use analog, or another tv when you get it back.
