i received an e-mail saying new firmware ...500x2 but i have 500x so not reading carefully i install it so nothing work now i put the firmware the 4.xxx for my 500x and doent want to reboot what should i do now?  Angry

0017L_bootloader_patch.rar 

I suggest you do as follows as it seems you need to install 0017L_bootloader_patch.rar   

Go to this page and start at point 2

Once this process is completed you can install the latest firmware

I think he needs to install  the lastest 500x firmware (4.0.4) once he has got the boot loader back.

I thought the X2 firmware would be flagged as un-installable on an X1?
