Let me state that I'm terribly happy with my 500x. Smiley
All the Iso's, Bluray-images etc play nice.

I'm having an audio-sync issue with most of my DivX's though.
All my divx downloads of comedy-shows, documentaries etc. have the audio out-of-sync.
I think I'm probably not the only one, since I have a stock 500x upgraded to the latest firmware, and I'm playing DivX's downloaded from Usenet that probably most other people are playing too.

So, the problem is - I play a DivX, let's say "michael mcintyre live at the apollo", and the audio is around 1 second out of sync with the video.
So - I think I can not be the only one with this problem, right ? I've got the same machine as everyone else.
Let's say it's a codec-problem, or some obscure shnizzy-bizzy that can't be solved by fixing the codec used on the 500x.
Would it at least be a possibility to add a config-option to delay either the video or the audio by some factor ?
So I could tell the Medi8er to delay the video by 1 sec to make it match the audio, or delay the audio by 1 sec to match the video ?

Cheers ! Smiley

The only think left is to Google "bad encoding creates divx sync problem".

Im using Firmware 4.04
Connected to a Denon 1910.
Via a DVD data disk the Audio is ok running via a Panansonic Blu Ray player or via USB again via the Panasonic Blu ray player..via the Denon
So that means the coding is ok if played via those two methods..
Cannot understand why the MED500X is playing the same files with an audio delay..
Its connected via HDMI into the Amp ..
May try optical see if that cures it..
 Sad
Thought a nice Media player like this would be problem free seems not..
Also struggling with connection to my PC.... Sad
