Hi

Iīm using 400x mini model and have latest firmware. I play my video files wirelessly from my NAS (using network). Always, when I pause video file and start play it again, subtitles wonīt work any more. Without pausing everything works perfect. And it doesnīt matter if subtitles are .sub or .srt.

Only way to get subtitles work again when pausing is to go back to home menu and then network and so on. Itīs frustrating to go through so many folders. Is there any solutions to this or do I have broken machine? I have not tried other methods to watch videos so donīt know if same happens for example watching from usb stick.

What does the subtile control say after you have paused? Off?

Also some details are missing:
- are you playing those movies by Upnp, Samba or NFS over your network?
- are you using Wifi connection or Lan connection?
- what FW rev are you using?  4.0.4?

Well, I donīt know what that subtitle control is, but when I pause video and pres subtitle from remote, everything is as is it supposed to be (SRT). When I press "setup" button from remote and go to "MISC" and "subtitle on-off" it is "On". Is there something else Iīve not noticed?

- Iīm playing those by Samba, as Upnp donīt show subtitles at all and my NAS (Linkstation pro duo) doesnīt support NFS.
- Using Wifi connection
- I had V.4 but installed V. 4.0.4 and same problem.

I tried playing video files from usb stick and no problems with subtitles when paused.

Hi guys!

About this subtitle matter, do you think that this problem I have is software issue or do I have broken machine? I also have this problem that when I stop played video (from network) and let it (mede8er) be on screensaver for only a couple of minutes, it automaticly goes to "home" menu. Do I have there wrong setting or what could explain this? Because when I watch series, its annoying when you stop watched episode and go having something to eat then meanwhile machine is in home menu and I have to go through again all those folders so I can continue watching next episode.

Upnp is automatic by definining everthing via MIME data. This makes it also restricitive, becuase anthing without MIME data setup on the upnp server, dosn't exist as far the client is concerned.  So  you often can't do the same things with UPNP as you can with NAS.
