I was testing playback of Bluray m2ts files. I was getting some frame jitter. Having read some forum posts on this, I tried enabling the p24 option on my MED400X. When playing a specific m2ts file, the jitter issue disappeared. The results were very good even on the famous birds scene from Planet Earth disk 1. Impressive rendition. :-)

I read with interest a thread about the p24 option not working for "play folder" or play from movie wall. With this bug, I see the frame jitter when  using "play folder" or from the movie wall had the frame jitter. I would love that to be fixed soon since there is no way that my wife will master selecting an m2ts file buried in the BDMV directory structure. It also devalues the usefulness of the video wall.

Is this defect going to be fixed in the next firmware release, and if so, when can customers expect that release to be made?

Many thanks,
David.

I would like to refresh this issue: are there any plans to fix the 24p bug for playing folders / bdmv folder?

This bug forced me to downgrade my 400Xmini to firmware 3.0.5, as only 24p playback really runs smoothly for 24p (i.e. 23.976p) files. Converting all bdmv folder to mkv files is not an option for me.
