HD picture on pixelated. The famous flying birds test video is absolutely horrible. What am I doing wrong?

Med500x Fw 4.0.4
Media source  750GB Samsung internal HDD. HD753Lj, free space 248GB
HDMI connection, set to 1080P 60Hz to Yamaha HTR-6230 and from there HDMI to Samsung B560.
24Hz ON,16:9

This reframes format is too high, you may search this forum or any other forum for reframes (reference-frames), it's just poor rip not mediaplayer faulty.
Mede8er (and any other player) will play HD movie with reframes less than 8.

Thanks for clearing.

I had downloaded several test videos package called "video test files  1" from some forum. Its strange that someone would create such low quality videos for testing media players.

It's the opposite. It's Quality Settings are too high for hardware players to deal with. You learn more when Tests find faults than when they don't. A bad test is one which never finds faults.

I see...

I had tested those videos also on Ferguson Ariva HDplayer 200a (Amlogic 8626H). I saw these pixels too but a lot less and and there were no color issues when on Med lots of pixels were missing and on some scenes colored differently. Amlogic again did not play some videos and audio formats.
But this will not make me throw my Med away.
