App works great on the S2 but the link with the latest version is broken. Could anybody upload that version?
Thanks a lot.

What link is broken? Seems to work fine?

This is exactly what I was looking for. A simple app for controlling the mede8er. Installed it on my samsung galaxy mini and works very fine with the 500X.

It will have an enormous additional value comparing to the normal IR controller when the app displays the active menu or music item. Browsing without the television will be possible then.

Cuball,

Any update on this? It would be great to be able to connect android to this and receive s graphical list of the films of the med box, choose a film and see the about info and then have the ability to send the play command to the box.

Would make a fantastic app.

Thanks

Hello,

I've created an app for Android phone, the app allows you to use your phone as remote.  It's based on the HTTP remote embedded in the mede8er.

Before using the remote you need to set the IP address of your mede8er.  This is my first app ever, so don't except too much of it :-).  I runs on my Samsung Galaxy 3 phone but should run on any Android 2.1 phone. The app does not support landscape mode..

Below is the app.

Cuball

ps: i've upload the app as .jpg extension (.apk is not allow, so you need to rename the file)

As far as I know this is not possible using the web-remote. You will need a uPnP program (like BubbleUPnP: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bubblesoft.android.bubbleupnp&feature=search_result)
