Pls find a simple tool to fix compressed headers on MKV files that only play audio

Instructions

1) Download latest version (currently version 0.6.0) of mkwdclean from http://sourceforge.net/projects/matroska/files/mkclean/
1) Unrar or Unzip and you will see the file mkWDclean.exe
3) Drag the problem MKV file into mkWDclean.exe
4) It will make a new MKV that will play fine in the Mede8er

You use the big green download button. The list below consists of source files and builds for other operating systems.

using win7 64 bit. Downloaded the win 32 version, i try running th file, and only cmd window pops up and disappears after a split second.
Tried running the file from dos, and when i type it in as required, it says it cannot find the specified file.

Sorry for being a noob, but not sure how all this works.

drag the mkv file  into the mkWDclean.exe icon, a window appears and the process start. That's all.

after it fixed the mkv file, will there be any effects on the video and audio quality of the movie? i noticed that after the process, i noticed that the file size was reduced. May sample file of  2.5gig became 1.8gig.. is this natural? thanks..

The file should get slightly bigger as the header has to be re-embedded throughout the MKV.

That's what i've expected... but my file got smaller, this is weird. Can someone explain why? Thanks.

...some info became smaller after the process...

File Size: from 2.5gig to 1.8gig
Overall Bitrate: from 2,803 kbps to 2,017kbps

Video Bitrate: 2,354 kbps to 1,529 kbps  (Nominal Bitrate is still set to 2,354kbps)
Bits (Pixel*Frame): 0.107 to 0.069
