Hi,

I know it's an old format, but I have some SVCD disks laying around that I would like to put on the Mede8er. I can just copy the MPG files, and they work, but I'd like to have the menu also

I tried copying all directories (just like the DVD has VIDEO_TS), but this is not recognized by the mede8er.

Is playing svcd supported? If yes, how, if no, will it be added in a future firmware?

regards, Felix

Seen from the specs it is not supported:
http://www.mede8er.com/specifications-med500x.html

As this is a rather old format, I personally don't think it will be supported in a future firmware.
Only way to go then is to play the MPG files separate or find a program that can convert SVCD to DVD with the menu included.

Edit: just see that Tachita was some secs faster but has the same idea...
