How fast is the HDD when i buy the mede8er with HDD

it will depend more by the hdd model.....try to find wich hdd model will be and then search at producer web page.

recommended rpm is 5400rot/min, it is more then enough for any  hd video.

but is only my thought...

Hard drives are fitted by the reseller and not by Mede8er at factory level - it would be best to direct that question to the reseller / store that you purchase the Mede8er from (or open up the belly of the unit and look inside if you have already bought it).
The slower 5400 rpm 'green' variety drives are generally recommended as they run cooler, quieter and generally more energy-efficient.
Hard drive speed is not as important in such a multimedia device as it would be in a high-performance gaming PC.
