 hey peeps stupid situation im in at the moment but i used to take my media player to my mates house alot to chill and watch films, one night he bought the media player back to mine next day as i packed to move house im not sure if i packed the power cable + power box thingy, ive searched his house my house everything and cant find it anywhere!

i basically need a new one does anyone know roughly the voltage required or anything about buying a new one?

any help would be muchly appreciated as im pulling my hair out at the moment!

i cant find anything on there but ive found another website where they stock 12v 3a adapters but could u please tell me what plug size it is please and if its negative or positive!

is it Plug Size: 5.5mm X 2.5mm by anychance?

Why don't you give DigitalEra a call to ask if you can buy a single adapter from them.

An original is always better to use then a general adaptor, especially if you still have warranty on your unit....

i guess is 5.5 mm  with with positive on center .... never measure that size ... Huh Huh

but like  Maasbommel , is it better to use the original one ....or buy a good one . switching power supply can give headache if are not so good.....

over the week ive tried ringing Digital era everyday no answer ever! ive left messages on answering machines and even emailed them a few times! and ive had nothing back!

could anyone link me to an original supplier or anywhere else i can get it from via the UK cause digital era are about as much use as a chocolate tea pot lol!

im in serious need as ive just moved house and set my front room up and am gagging to watch some new films!

If no one from M8R stuff will not point the usefull link, i think you should buy any  power supply that will deliver 12 volts and 3 or 3.5 ampers.. . The positive pin is inside of jack connector, do not forget that
