After I turned it off yesterday (via remote, as usual), today Mede8er won't power on.
If I press "power on" button on device, I get blue light for one second.
There is no red light at any time.

If it matters, it has newest firmware (working ok from the first day), internal hard disc, and everything was functioning perfectly for two months now.

Is there any easy solution to this?

Do you see the mede8er logo on you TV when pressing power?
Have you retried reflash the firmware using recovery mode?

There is no logo, just blank screen.
Right now, I tried to reflash the firmware. When I came to "press on/off button for cca 10 seconds" part of flashing, pressing and holding of the button does nothing. Just constant blinking of blue light, which stops when I release the button (no matter if I hold it for 1 second or 1 minute).

Try to minimize your mede8er as a last effort to verify what is causing this.

- remove all usb attached devices
- disconnect the internal HDD
- connect it by analog video cable (yellow/red/white) and check if you see the mede8er logo screen (use TVSYS on the remote control to walk through all video modes).
- redownload the firmware to be sure you are not using a corrupt image and retry to reload the firmware

If that is not working, you might have some hardware defect. Contact your reseller to get it repaired or exchanged.

I removed everything (net, hard disk, hdmi cable...) and connected it with analog cable.
Same situation, nothing works. No picture, can't flash (with newly downloaded firmware), etc.
Thank you for help, but unfortunately it seems there is some hardware error. I'm going to return it to reseller...
