Advanced Search Function and Meta data for media. NEW

Has there been any update in connection with the search function. i have over 3000 files and would like to search by name. but still can only search by 3 digit number aka 999.

And has anyone had luck with getting meta data to work with the new firmware MED500X Firmware v3.0.4 - 14 June 2010 [LATEST]. would be nice to get write ups etc on the files. like i have on my win 7 media centre.

You can jump to a file up to number 9999 - 4 digits.
There are a few ideas re search but nothing in the firmware yet as you will note from the release notes.
No Meta-data per se, but if you collect your Meta-data via YAMJ and run the YAMJ to Mede8er application then you will end up with an about.jpg in each folder. This can be zoomed to full-screen by pressing either [SLOW] or the [A-B] buttons on the remote
