Hi,

yesterday I watched a movie. Anyway, it was the first time I used the fast forward key. Is it possible that the factor (2x, 4x, ... 32x) isn't quite correct? It seems that the factor has no relationship to the reality  Wink I used 32x fast forward but it was something like double or triple speed. Definitely not 32x of normal speed.

The video was an avi-file and I'm using fw 3.02 and an internal hdd.

bye

the speed depent too much of the internal codec from movie,: on vmw have a speed and on divx, xvid, avc you got different speed.
also the smooth of spped is very different.
what is strange , i noticed that FR is more smooth then FF.

anyway, by mathematic the speed is accurate, but is not smooth.....
if you watch carefully at time contor you'll observe that he make jumps from time to time.....
but it is not what we want.... Sad
