hi there

i am new to mede8er and would like to give thumbgen a go, i have downloaded the newest version and have read a lot in forums.....but to be honest...it seems very complicated

a few questions...
is there a "how to" in german somewhere?
i would like a template with cover tricle....can i use the same template for series and movies?
can i set the once chosen template as default?
i want german plots....is this difficult?
how do i have to set up my files on hard disk?

atm i have got it:
p:\movies\hd films\aviator\aviator.mkv
p:\movies\action\terminator1\terminator1.avi
p:\movies\series\koq\season1\s01e01.avi
p:\movies\series\koq\season9\s09e01.avi

can i leave it like that or how shoud it be?

I'm curious about the poster language.

In about 20% of scanned movies (automated or i'm feeling lucky mode) i get posters in languages other than english (russian, spanish, chech, ...). Is it possible to ad an option for preffered poster language (or preffered collector language)?

very probable you can ......

but dont expect at jukebox  or whatever WDTV  use    for functionality

it will create those sheets just as simple pictures .... you cant browse to another in the way like that sheets suggests

Yes you can if you first create all folder images and on next run movie sheets. But with ordinary movie sheets you can get this functionality with Shizzls modded FW #3.2 http://www.mede8erforum.com/index.php/topic,4898.0.html

Hi,

When i Generate Serie episode sheet the genre and company in  the movie info is missing.
It happens with Manually en automatic.
How can i fix this?
The collector that i use is thetvdb.

change the movie collector or movie data collector and keep same fanart  collector.
if doesn't work go to ThumGen.org and follow issue tracking.

you can't get more support on this forum from thumbgen dev ( only from us )...  is not so welcome here, even if ThumbGen is the best
