Media library issues
« on: July 05, 2018, 06:08:13 pm »
Hi guys,

Hopefully I'm in the right forum area.

I've noticed that the last 3 movies I've uploaded to my MED800X3D  have all got pixelated thumbnails and info pages. This is after I've run Y2M program and scanned the folder on the mede8er. The movies play perfectly  well but the library doesn't look right with these 3 thumbnails. I find it a tad annoying. I have carried out this procedure 1000's of times in the past with no problems until now.

Any advice would be appreciated

Steve

You need to update the firmware to the latest to resolve the corrupted images when scraping

V4.0.2 - 6April2016 -X3D Series - for MED1000X - MED800X - MED600X Patched 2

Steve, let me know if this fixes your issues as I started having the same issue a few weeks ago.  I'm certain I have been running the latest firmware, but I did try to update anyway, per Mede8er1's recommendation, and I tried to rescan, but the photos are still pixelated.  Knowing this unit is not being updated anymore, this may be the end of my using the 1000.  It has been a great unit since I purchased it.

Once you have installed -
V4.0.2 - 6April2016 -X3D Series - for MED1000X - MED800X - MED600X Patched 2
You must delete the 'movie.name.xml' files in the Move folders that have corrupted images before scanning.
