Hi, yesterday my dongle arrived. Setup and all without any problems. Very good!
But I'm just curious: what does that little ovalish button on the side do? Will it ignite the self destruct mechanism? ;-)
Seriously, has it any function at all?

Mede8er team: Thanks for this great product..

I only now this Mede8er version (see attachement). No push button on it.

How does yours look like? Is there a newer version of the Mede8er dongle?

Found out there seems to be a new Mede8er dongle version.
Same specs as the first one, but now with a WPS connection button on it.

For the ones who don't know what WPS is:

Thanks M.
Indeed mine looks like the pic you uploaded. I will look into the wikipedia you pointed out and see if I can find any use for the WPS setup.
Thanks again.

You can only use WPS setup mode if your router supports it.
And you have to use mede8er firmware 2.0.2 I think, 1.x.x has no support for WPS as I remember well.
