I imagine this will be dog slow for doing something like adding a new 3TB drive full of movies, but will be fairly efficient if that 3TB has already been scrapped by Y2M and we are just adding a few more titles to the disk. If so it will do exactly what I need most, which is an easy way for my wife and other family members to add to the movies jukebox. Will the auto scrapping read NFO files so it can tell the difference between the <SORTTITLE> (currently the filename), and the movie <TITLE>. e.g.
A filename of:
007 (1997) - Tomorrow Never Dies.mkv
for proper sorting
v.s.
Tomorrow Never Dies
as the actual movie title in the NFO file.
or
Shark Boy and Lava Girl (2005).avi
v.s.
The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl
What I would really like to a see a solution to the displaying Extras/Bonuses/Trailers problem. Even something simple like an like being able to suppress scraping and adding to the jukebox specific folders, and then having the child folders appear on the movie page. Once navigated to, it could display something like the TV Wall for the extras.
So for example in my case, 10,000 BC, I have a extras folder that is a child of 10,000 BC. Somewhere on the page for 10,000 BC I would see the name of the folder "extras", I could click on that and then actually navigate and play the 10,000 BC extras.
